The ceramic sector, like many others, is subject to the market trend of decreasing purchase lots, even serving boxes as order lines, along with the multiplication of references to compete in the increasingly global market.

Production chains have optimized the minimum production batches, but even so, the coverage of stocks generated is of relatively long terms, this implies enormous storage needs, traditionally open fields. Also, characteristic are the high weights of the merchandise that make it difficult to handle.
